FakeStock started in 2022 as an experiment in AI-generated stock photography—back when AI images were still experimental and far from photorealistic.

Now? AI images are everywhere and indistinguishable from real photos. Stock photo libraries have embraced AI to various extents. The "fake" angle feels less relevant.

We value artist work—but let's be honest, artists usually aren't the ones profiting from stock images anyway.

So we built something new.
